- Gets rejected (legally or politically)
- Plays the victim saying the establishment / elite are plotting against him, calling them ‘traitors’ or ‘unpatriotic’.
It’s the kind of thing the brainless morons that vote will just go along with. The sad thing is, we’re seeing this happen over here too.

The “Trump Dividend”,as the Orange Oaf is calling it, would cost 1.3 Trillion dollars. And must be spent in the United States only after a Republican win in the Mid Term polls!
And who’s going to ‘police / monitor’ if it’s spent only on American products?!
Surely this is the only way it can be remotely beneficial for the US economy?

If it's an election pledge I think it probably is legal. No different to saying 5% tax cuts for everyone is it? He not saying only those who vote for the republicans gets it.
