Kitten kong I was watching when my little sis tripped over my feet and hit her head causing blood and stitches, we went to Loughborough hospital to get her seen to and watched the town hall on fire on way home …So when that’s ever mentioned that Sunday always comes back , sister tough toddler and a battler til this day 💙 , loved the goodies back then but seen bill being interviewed by bill turnbull regarding birds and b.o was so rude to b.t that went off him ….however rip to both bills and thanks for the memories.

Wasn't he caught on camera being horrible to everyone, when he thought he wasn't being filmed. I enjoyed him in the goodies and liked his wildlife programmes but didn't know the guy and I'm anti-celebrityism anyway.

I was a young fan of the goodies they were of the time , I don’t know about the off camera thing but he was obnoxious to bill turnbull who was a nice bloke I believe but but handled him with dignity and integrity, I did see him get this is your life sprung on him and he shunned it but was persuaded to do it eventually 😂😂 anyway he had a good long life and rip to him . It’s interesting to find out what celebrities are like off camera imo , like when people we know tell us how they found em as on ere . Might get a thread on general chat going…. Before they pass away .

Yeah, I was only a kid watching goodies. It was pretty stupid so fine for me then. I'm sure I would wonder WTF? if I saw it now. Still most 70's programmes are of their time. Except the SF which still hasn't been beaten today.
