I'm only guessing but they seem to want Morata and a couple of other guys, when their clubs read that Faes is about to sign they are then in a deadline day decision position of whether to reduce their demands or lose any deal.

Personally think a hammers move is good for both west ham and Faes. Maybe they are now playing LCFC.

Leicester should have accepted any offers over the last few weeks for everyone they wanted rid of. Deadline day is never a good time to need to remove players from your squad.
