Had him on the blower this morning and he was sounding far better and talking a lot clearer than he was at the weekend. Dunno if this was due to any improvement in his condition or the hospital's zero alcohol policy but he is upbeat and is gonna be discharged midweek. He can now walk unassisted but the doc has advised him to take it easy so he will not be attending any games this season.
