Hope yet for Faes and Okoli

I don't see him going to saudi and unlikely to want Turkey. As I said before, we should loan him to Leuven where he can impress his country selectors.
 
I just read that LCFC have offered Faes on loan to Leuven but are asking them to pay 50% of his wages which they can't afford.

Surely being related clubs they can quietly discuss what can be afforded without embarrassing each other with a wild demand.

Better Faes is playing in Belgium and displaying his skills than sitting at home playing for no-one.
 
We couldn't even given Faes away. He's either on too big a wage packet, and expects it matched, or nodoby fancies him... or both, or anywhere between.
 
I don't understand how he can play for Monaco one season (and play pretty well for them) and then nobody wants him. It has to be his wages!
 
I'd love to know what Faes is doing at the moment. Is he training? Going through the motions? It's pretty obvious it was expected he'd go, and we made signings to cover that eventuality, but it didn't happen. Not much chance of him making a match day squad now, injuries aside. So does he just bide his time until) Jan? Hope a Turkish club makes a chancers offer?

I've just googled Faes to see how many games he played for Monaco, 14 in total. I saw one on tv, a champions league game where he gave a penalty away with a late sliding tackle and was generally poor throughout the game.I also went to Strasbourg for the final game of the season where Monaco lost 5-4 ( after being 4 -1 ahead ) and Faes was awful. If you're saying he played pretty well for them he must have been great in the other 12!!

He actually did play pretty well in them - I live in France so see them if I wish - You seem to ignore the fact that in the champion's league match you mentioned the opposition where the best club team in the world and he'd actually had a good game before being useless at the end.
