Bertrand picked up his last pay cheque yesterday! Thank fuck he has gone if ever there is a legacy from Rodgers time here its him.
Reportedly on £75k a week, he started 4 games, which works out around a staggering £975,000 a game !!! 😠😠😠
 
Somewhere in our tragic history of Lammies and Kaebis and Laszkos and Lows, there must have a worse signing than this. But right now, I can’t think of one.

Isn’t it worse than that. £75k/week = £3.75m/year. So he earned £7.5 MILLION. 4 games. That’s nearly £2m/game.

He played us like a cat with a mouse. I genuinely believe he wasn’t injured at all and took advantage of the general apathy and malaise at Seagrave. I doubt he’ll play again but if he does it’ll prove my theory. Funny how he suddenly played for the U21’s in the last month of his contract. A complete disgrace
