The Doors

Too many to choose from but I’ll go for LA Woman. A rollicking good tune. Mr. Mojo Rising indeed.

4-5 years back a very good mate of mine and I had a Thelma and Louise (no murders planned) like trip ready to go down Highway 1 from San Francisco to LA and then on to San Diego. Sadly it was kiboshed by his wife getting cancer (mercifully she’s now in remission) and the chance has now gone.

This would have been turned up to 11 on the road trip soundtrack 👍

 
Any mentions of The Doors just makes me think...

But that song was about 40 years ago so nobody can still believe he's alive. Can they!?

I've always had a soft spot for Peace Frog. Brilliant groove but not one of their main ones.

LA Woman is a barnstormer and a half.

But my favourite is Roadhouse Blues

It's a great song.
I'd put I Wanna be Adored - Stone Roses ahead of it.
One is about escaping reality and the other is a reality check for those who seek adoration.
