Flat earth

Personally I’m not convinced. If it was true then it would explain who the world owes the money to when we read of the trillions of debt we have.
The real point im making is why do we believe the world is round?
We all believe it from an early age dont we.
Maybe some smart arse will come up with some sort of relative theory to explain why they believe or can prove it now but essentially we believe the world is round because we’ve had it drilled into us from an early age.
Whether it is or not it’s irrelevant.
Wonder what else we’ve been taught at an early age that we just accept?

This is just set up to be a huge, hilarious Gotcha! if someone dares to mention space travel, photos etc. Of course, they are all fake but you just need to see a lunar eclipse to know.

Cain didn't shag his mum, to have his child Enoch.

All of his offspring were wiped out in a flood.

His brother Seth's side of the family survived in a boat, with two of every animal on earth.

Seth didn't shag any of his family either.

More wrong end of stick, read in haste. We all believe what we're told from a young age. Some people begin to question things before others, some continue to believe everything they are told without checking alternative sources.
did you really say that ? you are a contradiction when you want to be ain't ya !

It's threads like this that make me think there's some funny chemicals in the water in the West Midlands.
I think he's got a good point. We know fuck all, some of us admit we know fuck all and have an interest in looking at other ways of thinking about the big picture, and some of us think we know everything because the man told us, and he's right, and everyone else is stupid. I'd prefer to have an open mind.

It’s about dismissing the curve balls for no other reason than it’s not what you’ve been told.
It all depends who's told you though. If it's some bloke down the pub who's quite a clever chap but not really got the credentials I might have to check with other sources. If someone like Professor Brian Cox tells me the Earth is round I'm tempted to believe him, even having seen the fake moon landing pictures and stuff.

No no no. I’m calling bullshit on you. You believe the world is round because you were told it was round when you were in short trousers.

I get why people don't trust the MSM. But I don't get why they trust other types of media? All the fuckers have got an angle.

Agreed, the issue I have is simple. The BBC shouldn’t have an angle. If you accept that they have and are ok with it then you’re part of the problem.
The rest is about who’s paying the bills and who’s collecting the profits.
Seems like most folk on here, their thought process is governed by whos making the most profit is the ones that are reliable.

Utter nonsense. The BBC make some great programmes. They don't all have an angle.

Yes I was told that. I've read some of the stuff questioning it and have still decided it's true.

How can any news service not have an angle? You would have to provide every single element of a story. It would be impossible.

Explain how they, or any other news service could be 100% impartial?

Perhaps they could start by having a 'news section', separate from the propaganda.

Tell people what happened, where and how. Leave out the commentary of the 'what this means' variety.

Be like getting the football results without having to sit through all the uninformed punditry.

You wait until GB News or whatever they want to call themselves get going.

Waste of time, it appears that GB News has already been 'gelded'.

Little chance of any reporting that goes against the narrative.

I am sure if you watch Farage on YouTube you may hear what you want to hear.

Just an option for you.

You have some very strange ideas SF. What on earth does garage have to do with News channels.

I think that your exertions on some of the other threads have left you a bit dazed. I normally take your comments as a bit of banter, but this is just silly.

You should look him up. He is over in America sticking his nose into their politics while UK fishermen get shafted.

So, what does that have to do about a new TV News channel? Are you losing the plot?

In other news, UK fishermen are getting shafted by the current governments ridiculous 'half in / half out' Brino agreement.

Er maybe because he will be a permanent fixture on GB News?
