Knife & Fork pending
….. marks the 10th anniversary of the reinterment of Richard III in Leicester Cathedral on March 22nd 2015.
Sad to think that a year later it heralded the greatest moment in our Football Clubs history but that in 2025 it will be the burial of Leicester City FC that we sadly witness.

Cast your minds back, to when York tried to nick Richard III from us. Claiming the former King would have wanted to be buried in the city that had beheaded his father.

After the reinterment at Leicester Cathedral, Leicester won the Premier League and York City dropped out of the Football League, in bottom place. In the same season.

In January 2022, Leicester Cathedral decided to undergo a renovation that hasn't really changed very much, but cost a fortune and was very disruptive.

The fortunes have since reversed for Leicester City and York City. The latter is on the verge of Football League status again and the former are in freefall...

Probably all a coincidence though...
