I DIDN'T BOO, NO SIR AND I HAVEN'T EVEN DANCED YET
CAUSE WE HAD BAD INJURIES YOU SAID I WAS BAD
LIKE I WAS A BAD MANAGER THAT IT WAS MY FAULT
I WAS NURTURING PATSON, BUT YOU COULDN'T SEE THAT COULD YOU HARWICH?
I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M GOING TO DO, RETIRE I THINK, DON'T KNOW

Brendan Rodgers is very articulate so we must assume that he was aware of all the negative vibes coming his way, either through social media like Bentleys Roof or F.T.
Consequently I think we should be grateful he took all the criticism on board and dispensed with the tippy tappy dross we have endured.
As Jack Nicholson said I think you should be grateful and go on your way.(A Few Good Men

From the BBC interview after the match:

You have to fight, you have to run. We needed to fix our issues and that started with our defending, aggression and intensity and then you can play fast and dynamic football.

"We are a high-pressing team, sometimes we have to adapt it but that is our blueprint.

"I loved watching the team today. I studied our last game against [Crystal] Palace as if I was just coming into the job and I laid it out to the players.

"We need to keep proving the point. Today we proved we can be a very good side when we play with that hunger."
It's worth watching (from about 2:45 min) how he described what he's done in preparation to the game.

Looks like what he said clearly hit home with the players!!

He is actually a very, very good manager! I wonder where he got the nice fox head lapel badge?

That's my fucker! I was wearing that for years before I lost it about 2 seasons ago. Never seen them before; never seen them since. Bastard! Where did he find that?

BLUE ARMY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
