Nalis Nalis who the f*ck is Nalis
I just remember the atmosphere that night being amazing. We scored early, ran the game from there, never looked like conceding in the second half, scored the clincher in the last 10 mins. One of those great nights at FilboOne of your goals..I was there!!
They scored nil, we scored three,We all dream of a team of Barry Hayles....
Number 1, Barry Hayles
Number 2, Barry Hayles.
He was some player and had an aura about him. It was arrogance but with an edge of fun. The influence he had on the team and the fans was similar to what happened later when Cantona walked into Old Trafford. It seems surreal when I read about The Doog, who was clearly a City legend but before my time as a City player. Sadly, I only have memories of him as a player wearing old gold.
Think that night I was in the Pop Side next to those lovely Wolves fans - wasn’t it after the pens went up and half the Kop de-camped to the Pop Side?“I’d walk a million miles, for one of your smiles
John Saaaamels, whoa Saaamels, whoooa Sammels….”
sung for about 20 mins non-stop, City 2 Wolves 0, Cup 3rd Round 71/2. Night game, so either postponed from the Saturday, or a replay, can’t remember
