Booze in the stands?

It would appear that part of the fan led review in to football, there is a clamour for us football fans to be allowed to be allowed to take a drink within sight of the pitch again after a 36 year ban.

All for it myself, but any ned launching their over priced beer in to the air to celebrate a goal, needs to be removed from the ground and banned for life (y)
 
My St.Bernard carries mine in a little barrel around his neck. He gets up the stairs to my seat before I do nowadays too!

We are miles behind here. Remember sitting with the Copenhagen lot at their place. Bringing 6 single pint containers to their seats. Best bit it was Carslberg at a Heineken sponsored event! I asked them how that happens.

Even funnier were the cocks who thought they were getting pissed on the stuff. It was about 1.5% if that.

Unfortunately there are too many people who can't behave like grownups after a couple of shandies at the football in the UK.
 
Two points...

As alluded to above, the beer served in stadiums is usually overpriced, reduced-strength disgusting piss. When we go to the SCG for the AFL it's so bad I don't even bother and that game lasts three hours! I'd rather wait for a decent beer elsewhere (Yes there is decent beer in Aus)

Also the football watching is completely ruined by constantly having to get up and down for people going to and from the bar...and the toilets

I believe everyone except Mancs and Scouse should be allowed drinks in their seats. Mancs and Scouse have very bad reaction to alcohol.
