We played a mid table champ team with half their reserves in, we put out a very strong side, and yet we were wobbling at halftime due to Winks.
Same old problems, if it's not one player like JJ making a mistake it's somebody else doing not 1 but 2 schoolboy errors.
I think 4 of the first 5 goals were down to poor play by the conceding side.
Good that Faes and JJ scored, but they also need to be able to defend (not that they played too badly today).
pluses are we took our chances, but we won't be gifted chances like that every week and there didn't seem to be a whole lot of creativity on show. El khanous's slide rule pass for mavadidi was a highlight.
i can't think of another game where one side either scored or assisted for 8 goals including the oppo.
Remarkable.
