Both of these people conducted themselves like twats in the interview.
Dan Wootton is a twat anyway, regardless of anything relating to Covid.
Neither changed my view that we need caution for those who are vulnerable and to continue with life as normal for the rest. Wootton disregarded the potential impact on hospital ITU beds and the MP was out of order with the "thick" card.
There is already a mechanism to avoid paralysing ITU bed space. Just keep the Nightingale Hospitals open throughout the winter. Open more of them in other cities. Funnel all Covid cases to them. Return the hospitals to normality. Keep everything else open. Get rid of the masks. Enforce hand hygiene.
