Disscuss.

Pearson put most of the elements in place, Ranieri saw it through. Not quite so straightforward as that though is it, 2015/16 was a nine month marathon, Claudio, if he had made even a couple of wrong calls along the way could have scuppered the whole thing. I like to think both men played a different but equally vital role. Unfortunately due to events off the field NPs reputation was tarnished. Tellingly though, not enough to prevent him later being offered another job for KP at Leuven.
Edited to add, I'm not actually clear what KS is getting at exactly because if he is saying well the office cat could have been in the managers seat we'd still have won it then that's pretty poor.

Strange one trying to say your previous manager won the league.
Even stranger though is only one team
saw through the strategy

Both men played there part, but the way Claudio handled the press was magical, Claudio picked the team each week not Pearson, and do not forget Kante & Fuchs were a big part that never played for Pearson. Lets give everyone there due the year all the stars aligned.

Kasper’s quote of ‘we didn’t buy into that stuff’. … is a bit misplaced
The players weren’t supposed to buy into that stuff, it was for the media

Kasper Schmeichel hasn’t written an autobiography.
One suspects it is attributed to the wrong Schmeichel especially given all the references to 'they' rather than 'we'...oh, and the presence of an otherwise completely out of place picture of Peter at the top. Not that I have read an autobiography by either.

As to the substance, I think Adumass nailed this one a few weeks back.

Very disrespectful , how come we didn't win the league the previous year then ?

Would it be Vardy playing in midfield, Kaine playing on the wing. How come we were getting relegated until that players meeting and the team changed into world beaters ?
How come magicman Pearson replicated winning the league elsewhere ?
How come nobody wants him to manage them?
Someones after a bit of publicity !

Absolute crap

Exactly buzz. It’s clear from the pronouns that it is Peter talking, not Kasper. And Peter did indeed publish an autobiography last year.

This is the equivalent of your dad expressing a (fairly banal) opinion about your employer in the local pub, then somebody going around saying it was you who made the comments. Obviously Peter Schmeichel having an opinion on Pearson/Ranieri isn’t particularly interesting, so to make it a story they attributed the quotes to Kasper instead.

The statement came from Peter Schmiecal, not Kasper.
Yet the story attributes the quotes to Kasper.

In other news, I've heard on the grapevine that one of the tabloids will shortly publish a worldwide scoop revealing that Robert Huth's aunty has gone on record saying that the main factor behind the title win was Claudio insisting on upgrading the halftime oranges from Waitrose Essential Easy Peelers to Waitrose Duchy Organic Easy Peelers.

Anyway.
The article that is poorly written states that it was the players that won the League, rather than any manager.

"2015/16 was a players’ triumph, not one of management..."

“Keep ‘em peeled”!

I always thought we won the league despite CR and not because of him

Perhaps a bit uncharitable I know but I saw him as a bit of a clown

his subsequent career doesn't change my opinion

Truth hurts bnet it was because it was our first season in the premier and our players didn't realize how good they were,. Pearson instilled such a never say die attitude in them that even when they were losing it was by the odd goal. We were never going going to get relegated once the pressure was off. We were down and the players and the manager just thought what the hell if we're going down let's go down fighting. Regarding Kante CR didn't want him and Fuchs was brought by Pearson. Why is it beyond the realms that Pearson had such a big say in us winning it?.

I think we would've won the league with anyone at the helm that season.

Vardy said Cambasio was the manager on the pitch and in the dressing room some say he was the architect of the great escape? Didn't Pearson end up sitting in the stands as well as putting Kane and Vardy on the wing during his reign.

Vardy said nothing of the sort. If you read his book, he clearly did not like Cambiaso and downplays his impact on the Great Escape considerably. He also makes it clear that most of the squad were not bothered when Esteban decided to move on before the start of the following season.

The same NFP who turned down Kane for £2.5 million. Imagine how much we'd have in the transfer kitty selling him on. Wouldn't be scoring against us every time for shits n giggles either.
