Doom N Gloom up the road in D@rby

The Leper of the board.
Potential new owners pulling the plug.
Can't afford to pay the players their wages.
Now face having to pay Richard Keogh £2mill in compo for sacking him over that car crash (absolutely no pun intended).

We all hate Wise and Hall for making us fold, so I really shouldn't laugh at the Keogh incident.

But it's great watching them quietly implode.

They are considering selling Pride Park again, but The Chairman's cat Waghorn, who owns Pride Park isn't keen.

Seeing them struggle at the bottom of the table is wonderful to see. But the financial struggles are something else. Wouldn't wish that on any club. It always seems to be 'there but for the grace of God....' with these moments. So easily could have been us

In recent times Forest and us have been in the third tier. I’d love for Derby to go down too but I concur, I wouldn’t want to see them go the way of Bury.

I never want to play them again. Hope they both stay just above the relegation zone, in Division 4, for eternity.

I do want to play them again. I was unable to go to the recent FA Cup game due to work commitments and I do miss the East Midlands derbies against them and Forest.

I’d be happy with the odd cup fixture mind.

They wouldn’t sell Scott Carson to Manchester City as they were banking on the loan agreement instalments helping to pay the players wages.
Its a farce, they need to walk before they can run. It’s funny that everything is so chaotic.

I like it when we beat the sheep but they don't rival us they are smaller than us, wot gets my goat is florist winning European cup twice.

For all the stick he took shows what a great thing Milan Mandaric did for the club
Totally underestimated by many on here🤡😁

It depends on where you live in the county IMHO. Living in SW Leicestershire when Coventry won the FA Cup that was like a dagger through the heart whereas Derby's two league championships meant very little to me, I can't rightly remember but I think at the time I was pleased that Derby won it instead of Liverpool or God forbid, Leeds United. The owner of a Talbot Horizon who lived on the Coronation Estate in Earl Shilton became a legitimate target when he decked out his car in sky blue ribbons.

Indeed. In Melton no-one really gave a toss about Coventry but Forest...

Old sweats like Bruin and Borebage have a deep hatred for Forest also, due mainly to the sixties when Forest/Leicester games were open warfare. I was a nipper when those days were in full flight so I missed all of that. My first serious hatred for any football team on the planet was Leeds Fucking United.

Here in darkest West Yorkshire I regularly encounter a C*v fan who whenever conversation turns to football starts with "when we won the cup". After their fans turned up in numbers at Old Trafford in 1969 just to watch us relegated I am of the persuasion that only the fourth division is good enough for them.

Names like Ernie Hunt, Willie Carr, Neil Martin and That Bastard Cantwell still make my blood boil. For at least 5 years MOTD opening credits included that 'goal' which was outlawed.

I would like to think that in the event of being drawn against C*v in some cup or other there will be Leicester fans imbued with the sense of tradition to sing "Noel, Noel, that is the name of that bastard Cantwell" like their forbears did.

Oh, there are. There are.

BLUE ARMY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mick Co-op? I have to put up with Dave Bennett just about every Sunday; Kirk Stevens occasionally, & (rarely these days) Trevor Peake, recently ex LCFC youth. All members of THAT fuckin' team.

BLUE ARMY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For me its the Sheep, I spent 9 years living in Nottingham in the 70s / 80s, had a great time, loved the place but hated the Nottingham team that played in Red. This was all at the greatest time in their history, title in 77/78, then won 2 European cups, league cups. We in turn had the McLintock relegation season then picked up under Jock Wallace and Gordon Milne, but Forest were the big team then. I found Forest fans did not bother about us, we were just so far below them, I moved in to Derbyshire in 85 and stayed for 25 years, beautiful county but the sheep fans are something else. There is a real hatred towards everything Nottingham but Leicester is really not far behind, it was at times pretty nasty and also racist in terms of the way they spoke about the City of Leicester. I gave it back of course, and one of the greatest days was our famous 2-1 play off win in 94, that was some journey back up the M1 with the big banner Silence of the Rams over a bridge at Leicester Forest East. I found most sheep fans to be insular small minded and moronic, the Forest were the opposite, there was banter but I could have a intelligent conversation with Forest and County fans. These days I live in Somerset, the local team is Yeovil, I will always hate the Rams.
