I don't know why you lot get so wound up by stuff I post. I honestly think it's a flat earth. Get your fucking heads round that one.
 
The last bit that you see of a ship sailing into the distance is the highest part of it.
If it was flat you’d still see all of it getting smaller.

Not at all, that it is not how works.

The quantum black hole that sits under the flat earth generates the gravity field in which we all live.

It also distorts space so that the light waves, though still straight, are transmitted through curved space so that we lose sight of the bottom of the ship first. Basic stuff.
 
He "honestly thinks" it's flat. That's an honest thought, not a claim. Therefore, I would argue he has no obligation to prove anything. Had he written that he was categorically certain then I would agree the burden of proof would be wih him. But he didn't. If anyone disputes his honest thought then surely it is for them to either argue their case to make him reconsider or provide the categorical evidence to the contrary.

I honestly think that's nonsense. Also, he thinks it's flat, not round.
 
Why can you see further from a tall building, rather than from the ground, is an obvious one. If the world was flat you would see the same distance.
Also, if the earth was flat we would all experience the same amount of daylight as each other at the same time. Try FaceTime calls with someone in Sydney.
 
Do the sun and moon move like a typewriter? Get to one end and then whiz back to the start really really really really quickly?

Not true. There are too many obstacles at ground level, be they trees, lamposts, buildings. Also, there are things like steam, fog and smog that, when in the near vacinity, block your vision. Go up higher and all of these things no longer become a problem.
It's the same reason why we have light and dark at different times: the earth may be flat, but it spins and tilts slightly in a uniform motion, that takes 24 hours, creating light areas in some parts and dark areas in others. Our night is mainly caused by the shadows cast at specific times by mountain ranges and the like.
