This is where it all kicked off with BR. Because he was assured there was money to strengthen and then couple of days before transfer he was told there wasn't any. He had already spoken to a few players. Enzo also said the same thing stating he was unhappy that he wasn't told the true facts

With all due respect (i.e. none) unless you were party to the the conversation you don't know this to be a fact. What we know for sure is that at least 3 weeks before the season started he understood that we had to sell before we could buy. When he was actually told before that you would have had to have been there.

And yet there are still some people who want to believe both this and that he had no say in who was brought in.

tbf if you took a management job at a company having had upper hierarchy give you assurances about increasing headcount and then they told you a week after joining the finances are shite and there's a hiring freeze, you'd be annoyed too.
