So this is the quiet forum. Yeah I spose that means we don't do arguing here and we don't do politics and I imagine footballs too loud. Sharing poems why not? Chewing the fat bout this and that? Why not? But as far as I ever thought about it, and I didn't think about it before,

people can talk about sex, penises and bathrooms quietly, cant they? Why not? And if you want to share your wife's poems or pictures of your knitting, fine. But people are allowed to get critical about if they want. This aint a safe space bubba.

As Mac said, we aint moved to a monastery.

Surely somebody can start a thread of genuine sincerity, -one in which the whole aim is to help those in need and bring together the community-, and be valued as a 'good community member'.

Surely such a good community member can ask two things.

First, that other members please respect the aims of the good community member. That they understand the terms in which the thread was sent out, and that they do the decent thing and comply with those terms. (In my case, I have asked for a thread of kindness and goodness. )

Second, that you, as a member of staff will protect the good community member, when that member has done no wrong. Is it too much to ask that you 'police' just one thread and ensure that only replies that comply with the aims of the first message are allowed to remain?

I'll tell you what I'll tell anyone who yelps. We don't do safe spaces babe. You're sharing stuff in a public place. You could try the footy bollocks forum.

So you're asking for someone to curb freedom of speech?
