Good read

As much as I loved the cup win and it fulfilled a lifelong dream and I was so lucky to be there, we as a club should be busting a gut to win it properly with a semi final and final with a full quota of fans.
I bet its not even mentioned or talked about at the club that we won it in unusual circumstances.
Before I was happy to see us win the cup once before I die, now I want to see us win it twice.

Monkey off our back is the term many use and that sums it up , went in 21 and it was unique and fantastic , I won’t go next time done with travel but it could happen at some point & for the reasons you give YES that’d be great LF 👍

and I bet Plymouth didn't send out a Match Day Experience questionnaire.....

They ask for feedback after every game, via the main fan forum...

"An opportunity to give your thoughts, praise and observations following your visit to Home Park today giving overall marks out of 10 for catering, stewarding, security, seating, PA system, club shop, turnstiles, programme, ticketing, fan zone, car parking, general facilities etc - providing instant feedback to fellow fans and the club.

What went well at the stadium and what were you pleased with?

The club would also like to receive feedback by email ... supporters@pafc.co.uk"

There was something so cathartic about the FA Cup win. The goal, the way it was scored, against a modern giant like Chelsea. The sheer wonderful punch the air crikey Leicester have won the thing at last

And l have to say quite true l myself value that cup win more than the league one as after donkeys years the relief at getting our hands on that Cup that ld drempt about so many times laid rest a longing
Agree and is why I struggle to understand the vitriol directed at BR. Sure he fucked up eventually but most managers end up being sacked
Couldn’t give a shit about the Premier League and our win and no longer watch it. Prefer the lower leagues which are now easily accessible on SKY.
Much more acceptable goal celebrations for starters!
It might be wrong but looking forward to City being back in the pack and starting again

It was a classic cup final winning goal like Charlie George 50 year before , my nephew is streetwise but he says some things that make me know he gets what it meant ie he said he felt privileged to be there , the win and the fact 20k odd we’re allowed in . Next time the 20k plus’s will be in each end and it will be nice watching on tele as we do it again . For now let’s hope Exeter do what they did 44 years and 2 weeks ago 👍 tell you what Sam being lucky enough) to be at st James that night makes the better times magic. It’s a great club to follow ain’t it 🦊

The FA Cup was a very enjoyable quickie with someone you used to fancy loads but now you have to squint to see it's even the same person and has been had & abused by so many people it's no longer the thing you dreamt about. The League was the unattainable fantasy, the one you dreamt about if you dared to dream but you never stopped dreaming or believing you could one day be with them. And, sure, when the fantasy did come true you found they had tarted themselves up with a load of horrible cheap bling and, yes, they had been off with a few right horrible bastards since the days when the dream began but... oh, God was it still worth it!

Is there another fanbase, outside the BCC's that would argue that the PL title is meaningless and the FA Cup win was better?
The BCC's have had a near monopoly in the PL era on both of these trophies.
In an era of mega-money and a totally unfair playing field - we are the only team to have won both.
That makes me immensely proud and us very fortunate.

I thought the League Cup wins in 1997 and 2000 were going to be the peak of the honours Leicester could win in my lifetime. The Premier League win was something I could never had imagined and was a great wonderful surprise. The FA Cup was the itch that would never go away since 1963 for me. Even now I staggered we got both with a nice topping of the Community Shield at Wembley.

I was lucky enough to be there in 2021 and it wasn't just about the win for me.....having a few cans outside the big shopping centre with people i had never met before, walking to the ground, actually sitting next to someone without a mask(we were supposed to wear them, but few did),Youri's goal,Vardy kissing the cup......never forget that day!

Had a heart attack early on Cup Final morning, dragged myself onto one of the official coaches (Wembley or Dead), sat next to KPBW who was mightily relieved when we passed Luton Hospital with no detour, survived the Chilwell moment, saw us win the FA Cup at last, had another heart attack on the following Tuesday, one week in the George Eliot, stent fitted at Coventry Walsgrave.
Just another exhilarating chapter in the life of an average Leicester fan!
