Happy Birthday to me.......

I celebrated your birthday twice, once by watching the match, and then by sitting down with an old Betamax tape of your greatest role on the big screen.
The one co-starring with Yootha Joyce and Deryck Guyler In ‘One Of Our Majestic Wafers Is Missing.’

Many Happy Returns of yesterday, fella.

Been a good few years since we first met on your old man's coach. Surprised we've both made it tbf. :)

(Sheff W [A] 3rd Sept '66. Drew 1-1, The Doo-oo-oog for us.)

BLUE ARMY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They scored in the 10th minute of extra time Bruin .!

Neil and John Payne,Stuart "Ragsy" Rathbone,'Sid', The local referee(can't think of his name at the minute),Arthur Richardson,Josh Belcher,"Tocker" Ward,? Westwood(first name eluding me),Shilton 52 and Mali (both still of this parish) and quite a few more I can't recall off the top of my head at the moment!

Jeff Bray was the ref. There were also the two bros - Dixons?

Paul Starkey.

Who was the lad we called Bushpig? Was it Little Screw?

Also, Barwell Fox & Geoff Moore? Or did they use only Wainfleet?

BLUE ARMY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The 2 Dixons were both nicknamed "Alfie" (but not related). We discussed this on here before and redesignated them "Alfie the Elder" and "Alfie the Younger" to try and avoid further confusion. (As with the William Pitts).
Alfie Elder was actually Brian and Alfie Younger was Alan!
