England isn't really a left-leaning country. Perhaps a little bit on the social conscience side, but more right-leaning on most other things.

Which is why the Tories win so many elections. Any slight whiff of a leftie PM and it's curtains for the Labour Party.

Attlee got in on a leftie agenda, because of the post-war state of the country.

Very few others have.

This is not a Tory government I recognise . Sleaze , corruption and self serving incompetence led by the worst PM in my lifetime . It won’t end well for the U.K.
He is lucky that despite his attempts to destroy it through Brexit and underfunding British Science has saved him .
God knows how many dead he would have achieved in the pursuit of enriching himself and his friends were it not for the vaccine .

Clappers, I find that very depressing. Not so much that Labour is fucked it’s more that there appears there is nothing to fill the void

The question was a dislike of anything Tory. I explained that it was because of their blatant corruption & lies. There is no ‘another’ about it.

If you’re happy to swallow both things, then that’s up to you.
