The work of the devil. I got quite badly infested with this shit and regular tumbleweed/ glyphosate wouldn't touch it, even though I tried bruising it to overcome the waxy coat.

This summer (2020) I've sprayed SBK Brushwood Killer with added "KPlus" hard water conditioner. Supposed to be the answer (and it aint cheap). Seems to have done the trick but we shall see how much comes back in late spring.

Anyone else tried/ succeeded/ failed with this infestation?

Had enough trouble with couch grass this winter thanks.

Once you have cleared this weed from your garden, don't dig over the area for at least a year,

Keep hoeing it and hoeing it as soon as it breaks the surface, deprive it of light, never use a Rotivator on it, ever. If you are going to use any killer at all use boiled rhubarb leaves.
Nature's poison.
