Corruption.....TV figures next round.
All part of the plan!Even when it’s a “holiday” from the corrupt VAR the officials when left to their own ineptitude prove themselves to be even worse!
It isn’t if you win it.Who cares. The competition is so devalued now it’s irrelevant
It's not As if they were off side by an eyelash or a toe nail we're talking feet and inches or the metric equivalent.Even when it’s a “holiday” from the corrupt VAR the officials when left to their own ineptitude prove themselves to be even worse!
Or anyone else in red for him to get confused aboutIt's ludicrous. I mean you can see those occasions when people move off to on to off to on etc. but at no point from well before the ball is struck is Maguire not in front of the back linlineor
If that had been an under 10s game on the park with a home lino the ref would have had no choice but to rule it out. It's so bad it's almost funny.
Perhaps it will help build a bit of a siege mentality and help us in the long run.
I did say 'perhaps'.
“When Magoo Flew” (1954) and “Magoo’s Puddle Jumper” (1956) earned Academy Awards For Best Animated Short Film. “Magoo Fails To Wave A Flag” (2025) is only likely to earn a citation of opprobrium from The National Federation Of The Blind!
“Oh Magoo, you’ve done it again”.
One was a great decision, the other a shite one.Ironic that Man U won their semi final last year thanks to VAR disallowing a last minute Cov winner - offside by a gnat's cock. Now they progress with a stoppage time winner clearly miles offside. No surprise both decisions go in their favour.
If Leicester would have scored that goal you can bet your bottom dollar that his flag would have been straight up.
No question, he must be bent, no one is that stupidEven if it was Leicester it should have been flagged, same as Man Utd because it was miles offside. Not even close to being debatable.
Whatever way you look at it, the linesman ( fuck referees assistant) should have got that right 100 times out of 100.
Truly one of the most incompetent decisions I've seen made. On the basis of what happened you really would have to question if the linesman had took a bung.
Astonishingly inept.

Leicester v Atletico Madrid: A look back at controversial Filbert Street clash 20 years ago
Leicester host Atletico Madrid on Tuesday with revenge on their minds. With the help of Tony Cottee and Matt Elliott, we look back on a hugely controversial second-leg defeat for the Foxes in the 1997 UEFA Cup.www.skysports.com
Ref swayed by the crowd with the handball. The handball decision that led to the free-kick was also wrong. Hits the point of JJ's elbow with his arms in a natural position, close to his body with the ball hit at him from close distance.
The lack of offside is particularly difficult to take as the team defended it well. Really solid high line that held its position as the free kick was taken. If the United players were onside, the cross drifts out for a goal kick!
Corrupt as fuck.
Seriously I'd have an investigation into that decision and be heavily looking at that linos background. There must be some Man U bias in there somewhere.
I'd make sure he didn't run the line again.
I'd also be looking into the refs starting position there which was poor as well.
There needs to be consequences for these absolute fuckwit decisions.
There needs to be the drive for ever improvement which you just don't see with the level of officiating in this country it's as corrupt as fuck.
