I had a two hour drive to meet with a client today
As I live near the US border, I usually listen to classic rock or 60's soul on an American satellite radio station, but my subscription just ran out.
Before leaving the house I went to my CD collection. I wanted some smooth sounds for the drive there to get me relaxed.
I had some good choices... BLAXPLOITATION, Donny Hathaway, Al Green, Roberta Flack, but made my choice, and it was the right one. "Diana & Marvin".
Diana ross & Marvin Gaye both started young in the Motown stable, but on the album cover they both had Afro's, mature voices, soulful / sexy duets from two artists who loved & respected each other. I bought this back in the late 70's, but is probably still the most beautiful music I ever heard.
For the Roofer's soul aficionados - if you have had this album in your collection, sitting for a few years - pull it, play in a quiet/safe place with a glass of something nice and let the soulful magic of these two vocal geniuses, take you to a higher place.

Sam & Dave, soul icons, but it's comparing apples to oranges

I'm talking romance & tenderness which these two fine artists deliver
