I’d be flashing my EU passport about like I’d won a gold medal and be on the next boat.

Bet your grandmother was running ‘round giving out white feathers to 15 year olds back then.
There's something just so English about rallying the plebs together to protect an island that's closer to another country, and is used by the wealthy to avoid paying their fair share of taxes on the mainland.
Don't forget to tug your forelock.
That particular source deseves a good kicking.
Brexit - The gift that keeps giving
No no no Lonesome, it's all Boris' fault please stay with the scriptAt the heart of this dispute is the fact that French fishermen have for years, contrary to the previous agreement, not recorded their catch or days fished in Jersey waters so now cannot comply with the terms of the fisheries agreement negotiated between the UK and the EU to obtain the necessary licences.
The French should really take it up with the eu if they have a problem.
What script? Both sides are partially to blame but Brexit is the catalyst for it.No no no Lonesome, it's all Boris' fault please stay with the script
As part of the Brexit process it was agreed the French could continue fishing as before but would need new licenses. When they went to Jersey for the licenses they weren't what had been agreed. Seems like you're following the anti-French script. No they're not, as has been said on here the rules are the rules, it's just not on script if it's not the UK suffering for it
Nothing to do with Bash Britain. You refuse to hear anything said against this Govt. and doff your cap at every opportunity. The French had an agreement in place for a long time to fish the waters off Jersey, nothing to do with doing what they liked. No, the fact they'd been ignoring the rules for years doesn't mean they could continue doing it.
Seems like you're following the Bash Britain script
CBC fucking hell you’re sounding like me been saying the same thing to Rino for the last 10 years steady on.Nothing to do with Bash Britain. You refuse to hear anything said against this Govt. and doff your cap at every opportunity. That number looks rather high, are you sure it's correct? And in any case wasn't the contract cancelled and Dyson wasn't actually paid anything - they said they had absorbed the costs of their R&D. (I'm assuming you are talking about ventilators btw.)Boris Johnsons brother became a director of Dyson 2 weeks before the government awarded them a contract worth £250,000,000.
That was lucky eh !
l think its correct that figure. Whatever title his job is it stinks like all the others. I'm sure there's going to be some massive court cases soon. That number looks rather high, are you sure it's correct? While I'm at it, Johnson's appointment was to some sort of training outfit, not to the main Dyson company. I assume they thought he would have something to contribute as among other things having been a minister of higher education.
At the heart of the dispute is the fact that Jersey unilaterally added new conditions to applying for licenses without notifying the EU (or UK) ahead of time, in clear breach of the EU-UK TCA.At the heart of this dispute is the fact that French fishermen have for years, contrary to the previous agreement, not recorded their catch or days fished in Jersey waters so now cannot comply with the terms of the fisheries agreement negotiated between the UK and the EU to obtain the necessary licences.
