I'm worried about Henry

I think the most tragic thing about the ignorance in display by our resident health “ experts “ is if it hasn’t directly affected them it doesn’t happen to anyone else
.
Like saying Parkinson’s disease isn’t real because I haven’t had it yet .

As a result they are playing Russian roulette
with their own lives . A level of delusional stupidity hard for the other 95% of us to understand .

Is Olivia an actor?

Henry is an actor, he's not really dying in hospital of covid. He's there to get the state message across to the young that they must get vaccinated because they want everyone vaccinated.

He's actually a global Account Manager in IT. So probably doesn't need to supplement his income with acting.

Yes I've seen the Instagram page...

and you’re worried about misinformation and the undermining of the media - there you go - right there . You’re doing the job brilliantly

To be honest, I find this kind of emotional advertising, whether real or staged to be deceptive in the extreme, deliberately so of course.

No one is denying that covid can make some people very ill, as indeed can 'regular' influenza and half a dozen other 'winter viruses', that is not the issue, it is the scale and context of the reporting that is at issue.

If we were, for example, to send out reporters or film crews to document the often very distressing scenes of people dying from cancer there would be outrage, quite rightly so.

Currently the 'covid deaths' in this country are running at about 40 a day, averaged over the last few weeks, remember that this number includes the usual 'death from any cause within 28 days...' caveat, so we know that the numbers dying of covid will be lower than that, perhaps significantly so.

On the other hand, deaths from cancer are not disputed and running at around 450 per day average, Imagine if this was headline news on TV new 24 hours a day seven days a week.

I use cancer as an example because the numbers are easy to find, but similar comparisons can be made with heart disease, diabetes and all the rest.

Last time I looked cancer wasn’t transmissible but no doubt someone will finds a lunatic on buttshoot who claims to know otherwise

Not the point.

It is about scale, people think that 40 people a day who might have covid dying is a lot, it isn't.

Not the point Thankfully the vaccine is 90% + effective at stopping serious disease and death .
There are also still potentially 3 million unvaccinated people of which 3% could end up in hospital hence denying the beds to other patients who may need them

It appears every doctor , nurse , journalist , research scientist , politician, ambulance driver , hospital administrator , covid patient in the world is an actor . Who knew ?
You really couldn’t make this stuff up . Priceless comedy 😂😂
