Kasper

I think we can agree he has been brilliant for us and will go down as a legend, you have to feel for him as he is a big character who is struggling to hit his own high standards but teams are targeting his weakness and his ranting after conceding goals is partly due to frustration at his weaknesses being exploited
You only have to watch the Denmark v Scotland and see how they peppered his six yard box,Newcastle will see it as a massive opportunity to get a goal by doing the same at the weekend
In any game at any level if a Keeper doesn't come for crosses its always going to be " put it in the box the keeper won't come for it and get a gead on it"
This coupled with a very nervous defence is costing us big time
It would be a massive call to rest Kasper as have we seen enough of Ward to know he will command his box but something has to be done as its gone on too long

It really needs Brendan and Kasper to reinact that scene from The Godfather when Johnny Fontane goes to Don Coleone for help

It’s not a massive call though is it.
It can’t be understated just how unnerving it must be as a defender knowing that even if a ball is going to be put into the 6 yard box that your keeper will be scared to come for it.
Yes of course there is a chance that ward might not perform well, however how would that be any different to kaspers performances for a long period now?

He's probably the 4th best goalkeeper I've seen at the club at best, and I've been going since 62 , and yes He's a good shot stopper. But it's quite ominous considering how good he and his father thinks of him None of the so called top 6 have ever come in for him !! But have seen enough to let him leave.

Really good diplomatic opportunity to rest him he mentioned he had a bruised thumb after the game (which just so happens will not respond to treatment)
