Announced yesterday it’s closure now the owners are saying it may not close.

We’ll know more later today by all accounts.

Anyone been? I’ve been to Sheffield loads but normally out drinking, never to this venue.

I used to live 5 minute walk away. Saw loads of decent Indie bands live there in the early to mid noughties. Great venue would be a shame if it went.
 
I hear the new owners are the same as who own the Electric Ballroom in Camden. If true that bodes well for the Leadmill.

It won’t be the leadmill by name. Iconic sign and all fixtures and fittings will be off with the staff.
For how long Im not sure but I can see bands and artists boycotting them.
