Leeds United Scamming their fans

The Leper of the board.
What a fucking joke.
Apparently if you went to every away game last season it would only cost £669. So they have added an extra £180 because why not 🤷🏻‍♂️

That’s absolutely scandalous. I love the crap about ‘loyal supporter’ and ‘we’d like to reward you’. Reward??? WTF. Are these people who make these decisions stupid, arrogant or just don’t give a toss. Probably all 3. If I were their fans they need to make a complete protest and not buy one single ticket for away games until this is changed. An empty away section which no doubt the club has already paid in advance for the tickets might make them think twice.

It's a bargain, they should pay double that to inflict their support inside the away ground the extra being compensation to the away club.

An early example of what will inevitably happen here
The athletic's recent summary of PL clubs' ticket prices etc paints a fucking horrible picture.
The raising and phasing out of oap concessions by some is despicable, but as you say it'll be here too before you know it.

Most are capping at £30. So for all 23 away games that's £690
Not necessarily in the second division. There should be a rule in place for the Championship too.

How much did Leeds charge away fans last season? I remember when all this Twenty's Plenty started Leeds and Villa were both charging nearly £50 for away fans.

Fans are a pain in the arse to the clubs.
£7 at Coalville where you’re appreciated
There's a lot of truth in that. A mate of mine with more financial knowledge than I has said for a long time that Covid proved that clubs could still operate without fans at the grounds. Supporters primarily are to be rinsed at the club shop sorry fan store for 3 new kits every year plus plus plus.
TV money and sponsorship are the main streams of income now. I don't know if this is correct or not however the almost open hostility shown by clubs now to their fan base seems to bare this out.
