Leicester vs Burnley 1966

The AI subtitles are brilliant --- That free kick from Rob Reed was as good as any Rodrigues could have done

Magic !!
I must gave been there on the Popular Side.
Jackie Sinclair, and the Mighty String..
None of your Mavididi rubbish.
Borebage would know, but was Cross still playing County Cricket in those day?

Derek Dougan signed from Peterborough and Jackie Sinclair from Dunfermline only had one full season and two part seasons in tandem together. In the full season they had together the Doog scored 20 and Jackie hit 24. In his time at Leicester Sinclair scored 50 goals in 103 appearances (achieving the holy grail of a goal every other game for a striker) while the Doog scored 35 goals in 68 games in similar ratio. As a partnership they were lethal together and virtually unstoppable. Both were surprisingly eventually sold. Dougan just a few days after a disciplinary altercation on a team training trip at Brighton and sold to Wolves and Sinclair to Newcastle after a short period when his goal scoring dried up. He was in the Newcastle team that won the UEFA Fairs Cup and after that had another stint back at Dunfermline before ending his career at Stenhousemuir. Sinclair earned his only Scottish cap while at Leicester and Dougan returned to the N.Ireland team.

I was at that match. Terrible final. They only scored 140 or so. We struggled to beat that.
