With him, Johnson & his cohorts, I get the feeling that their supporters/fans love the audacity of their actions & behaviour.

It makes them seem maverick & anti-establishment, when the rules are being bent to the maximum, or can be pushed aside.

Of course, don’t try this yourself - you’ll get fined!

I've spoken about this before, but Farage was instrumental in forcing, then winning the referendum. He will always have my heartfelt thanks for that.

I single issue politician who became increasingly irrelevant after the result and showed that he had little else to say.

Scratching a living where he can and now taking the piss. The most influential politician in the county since Blair, shame.

You may. I would prefer to see the last three time ministers and their closest supporters up on treason charges.

Farage gave this country a chance to rebuild and restructure as an independent nation. That the government refused to do anything of the sort was not his fault.

You missed the sarcasm in my previous message..

Why this country ever allowed itself to be taken in by a charlatan who would’ve had nothing to do with the actual process of Brexit, is something that only Brexit voters can answer.

He's a politician SF, it's what they do.

He gave the country a chance to do better. That we failed to do so was a failure of our government and voters.

Sorry about that Mm, sarcasm, like irony is often lost in print.

I believe Farage offered to help with the process of Brexit but was ignored by the government. The voters rejected him post referendum too, so not a lot that he could realistically do.

As I said earlier, as a single issue politician he did remarkably well, but like most of that ilk fell away when broader issues came into play.

Whatever he mentioned as options we had pre-Referendum became things that he either retracted, or claimed he never said.

So essentially he was one of the worst bullshitters when we least needed a bullshitter.

Someone said when the elite merge with the mob a country’s moral compass goes awry . My God the last 5 years is proving that true in spades .
