Like you Jackie, I have tremendous respect for what he has done, as another cancer survivor I have at least some idea of what he went through.I get your point, but you do all jump on him as soon as he posts anything, I also know he gives back quickly. All I'm saying is out of all the people I know on here Bnet has a truly fucking remarkable story that is worth listening to if you are open minded and happy to question what you've been taught to believe. I wouldn't have had the strength or more importantly the positivity to fight cancer in the way he did.
And I think that is the difference, at the core of the debate he doesn't believe in the pharmaceutical industry and you have a belief in it. He found another way that cured him of stage 4 cancer, a way that medical people would say is voodoo and mumbo jumbo, but it worked. And there are 100's if not thousands of people that have gone down the same route and recovered from cancer. I also know people personally that I have begged to see the bloke Bnet is referring to, and they wouldn't, they went for chemo and died. Whether I agree with Bnet or not, whether I liked him or not, it wouldn't make any difference in the interest I would have in his story.
My story is very different, very early in my diagnosis I was seen by two, very 'cocky' young surgeons who, in effect, decided that they could cure of my cancer. This was January 2017 and they reckoned to have me done and cured, not in remission, the cancer gone by the end of the year.
Though the treatment was entirely conventional, it was brutal, for three months I was kept alive by feeding myself via a tube directly into my stomach, I could barely manage half a cup of tea taken in the normal manner. One of the few things that sustained me during the treatment was the incredible positivity of the two surgeons and their confidence that I would do well.
And, in the scheme of things, I had it easy.
