New leadership team

Jon Rudkin has been appointed to the role of Chief Football Officer, providing executive leadership of all football matters, ensuring long-term sporting alignment, strategic squad development and the high-performance environment required to deliver sustained competitive success.

Utter bollocks. He has totally unravelled LCFC and he's promoted!

Proves the point that relegation is the only way to move out of town this circus
Happily take the chances in League one under new ownership

Forgetting the individuals for a moment, from the announcement it appears the same structural problem suggested by the Whelan v Rudkin narrative & PSR situation remains; a separation of the football side from the rest of the organisation under a remote board rather than under an active & present CEO.

It doesn't prove that at all. We've been relegated twice in recent years and Rudkin has been promoted.

It all a load of bollocks and management speak

lets face it we are foooked

We have got rid of our best players and are left with shit

I saw them last week at Stoke and that was on a good day!

Blah, blah strategic oversight, blah blah financial resilience, blah blah long term strategy alignment etc, etc
The only believable bits of the above précis is the Blah, blah.

The opentop bus route will be published later in the week to celebrate the promotion
Monks arriving for last home game along with Tops entourage and Polo trophy.

Will give the Bristol City match a swerve
Think there may be a few more with same idea
Look forward to the League 1 fixtures next season and good luck to the new owners

So the man who has overseen our finances for years is now CEO and Rudkin has control over strategic direction of all things football. Add in a new technical director who seems to have floored a Belgium club and the lunatics really have taken over the asylum. At least our head of recruitment hasn't changed....

Ah. But he has his spy in place to keep him informed :

"Kamonthip Netthanomsak will continue in her role as Managing Director, maintaining oversight of commercial and operational matters to ensure continuity during this transition."

Joking aside, if I remember correctly she had lots of customer service experience , but not much more to suggest suitability for that key role.

Yes, I saw that. Customer service followed by a management role in Supply Chain operations if I recall correctly. But, yes, not much that suggested a good fit for a Manager Director role at a football club.
