Lots of kids there, which is good newsThe single ‘guess the attendance’ participant was so far off the scale that questions are asked “are they even a Leicester supporter “
Maybe because they wouldn't normally be able to get tickets for games - at least not at affordable prices - so an opportunity to sample a PL type experience. It seems there were lots of young families with kids perhaps going for the first time. With that crowd has to be, and how wonderful. Perhaps kids seeing their first game and we won 6-2. They won’t see, care or know about the usual crap we go on about.
To put it in perspective in 1974 we played Spuds at home in the 3rd round. In those days as we know the cup was everything. One of the biggest crowds so far that season. Just over 28000. The cup now is a spent force yet today 28000+ turned up.
Funny old game isn’t it as Greasvie just to say.

Pretty sure it was, yes.The commentator said tix were 10 quid. Was that home and away?
We could extend it so Top can get more of his entourage in.Why would Top want to expand the stadium
They gave tickets away and there was still room to get another 3,000 in
The ship has sailed there is not currently an appetite for more capacity
What we need is safe standing , a decent side and a change at the board level
Reminds me of when I was a lad, traveling to Filbert Street in a smoke filled Corporation football special bus, queuing for the turnstile with my monies in my hand, the smell of the hotdogs and once inside being passed over head to the front wall to be told you can't sit there son. We traveled to the ground with my Dad and Uncles and not a bit of bother. Then after the final whistle travel to my nans house for a huge mug if hot tea made with condensed milk, then read about the game in the Leicester buff. Special days those, I loved it.Lots of kids there, which is good news
Not to mention then sitting on wet seats & water dripping on my head. I thought I was being tortured by the CIA!I've been to the football when it's cold, but have to say yesterday was the coldest I've ever been at a football match.

If I was a st holder in SK2 row A id be complaining to the club about the amount of money charged for sitting in a moss covered seat with a constant dripping from above. Not to mention then sitting on wet seats & water dripping on my head. I thought I was being tortured by the CIA!
"We didn't get melton in for his meteorological skills but to be a comedian in the dressing room" ...I've been to the football when it's cold, but have to say yesterday was the coldest I've ever been at a football match.
