Got to be said if he goes we have lost some real talent in Fatawu Monga and Page
Coming in a bunch of loans and journeymen
Club gonna take years to get back on its feet
 
If we're letting Page go then we're in deeper shit (i.e. needing the money) than I thought* - or he really wants to go and we're not standing in his way. He really is a talent, we should be pretty much building the side around him. We are where we are, and it don't half piss me off.

*and I already thought we were neck deep.

I don't imagine that the owners will see a penny of this summer's inward transfer fees. They may save themselves having to put any more money in before they sell it, but that's not what you said.
All sane people predicted a fire sale as we plummeted out of Div2, and that's what's happening.
Whether it's enough, we'll see...

When Matt Piper was sold it was clear we were in deep doo doo. I switched on Sky hoping that one of our worst players(Faes) was on his way only to discover one of our best(Page) might be. If Monga can be loaned to Swansea FFS why can't we have Page back on loan ? If Page goes and we lost tonight there is going to be a toxic atmosphere after all of four games.

All bids have to be in by September 14th these will be based on the portfolio given to interested parties, I suspect all cash brought in before then wont be in the portfolio. Hence going forward the owners wont have a vested interest in the success of the club, fire sale or not we are in this mess because of the decisions they have made.

Their has been a toxic atmosphere for the last three seasons
 
I despise these big clubs. United has no intention of playing Page this season. Just another talented player being hoovered up.

I don't think anyone doubts the causes of the mess we're in.
But I just think it's a bit delusional to picture Top busy drawing millions in cash from the Club's bank account whilst the FD is probably struggling to meet outgoings each week.
Portfolio or no portfolio, any buyer will be taking on the bank account...

Not end of story. He might have been sold with a loan back, which is still a kick in the teeth.
