Question for the financial gurus

Man Utd are now contemplating building a new stadium rather than modifying their existing ground. The new stadium, if built, will be on ground already owned by United. Now then because the existing football club is run as a separate concern under Jim Ratciffe, will they have to pay the Glazers to purchase the land to build the new stadium on. If that is the case it's money for old rope.

I’m sure they’ll find a way of doing it thst
1 gets round the rules
2 makes various people lots of money
3 gets a new ground built

He’s apparently looking at some financial help from the government, hopefully he’ll get it, I would be delighted if my taxes help to fund it!!!

No complaints when the Tories were ruining sorry running things? Less than a month in and Labour is getting the blame already? So much for a honeymoon period. Maybe if the twats in charge for the previous 14 years hadn't bankrupted the country and given free money to their mates during covid the person on the right wouldn't have to do it? How much of the ppe fraud alone would've paid for a winter fuel allowance, how much would not having a 4% hit on gdp have paid for a winter fuel allowance if twats hadn't voted for brexit? The bill is due for 14 years of Tory corruption and mismanagement.

I have no affiliation to any party there all just a bunch of liars and freeloaders, it's quite easy for a incoming party to plead poverty to justify there policies. The conservatives did it last time. But we'll find money to justify fast tracking the 90K illegal immigrants, how much will that cost in benefits. I'm not justifying the covid fiasco but it's all better with hindsight, when PPE was required by the world,

People get what the effective majority vote for. The fools are those who thought Labour wouldn't blame the last lot, and wouldn't raise taxes as much as they possibly dare. With a large majority, it's already completely obvious that they are feeling very daring indeed. A phased and gradual implementation of private school vat? Nah, all in one hit in a few months time. More similar choices will follow.

Whether anyone will bother pointing out that bollocks such as the unexpected £22bn black-hole – about 50% of which is seemingly instantly attributable to the gov cravenly agreeing to every pay body recommendation in full – is another matter.

The key thing is not to get stressed IMHO – you can do fuck all about it.

Go fuck off and live your fairytale "Europe" then.

neither do i have an affiliation and i will call out Labour if they fuck things up royally. but the partisans who think the Tories are blameless after 14 years of ripping the country off and Labour are to blame for everything after 3 short weeks are just laughable.
getting PPE from a mate of a mate who formed a company that day with no prior experience. Awarding a ferry contract to a company with no ferries. All normal stuff to them.
the winter fuel allowance isn't going away, it's going to be means tested so the needy get it, and those who aren't don't.
it isn't perfect but isn't that a fairer way of distributing your tax money some of which in previous years went to soho's betting fund?

How long do you think it'll take the people who now won't get the money, but who relied upon it to keep out of means-testing, to manage to claim it? With how much effort, stress, worry, etc?

i sincerely apologize to the people on this thread for accidentally turning into bnet and hijacking it for politics when it's the football forum.
it won't happen again.
