I went to the same school as him.
He was in the year above me. I was in the same class as his younger brother, Micky.
Used to go down to Charlton to watch him when he was in Charlton Colts and then the first team. Then he moved to West Ham and the rest is history.

Billy is one of those players who, even though they played for the opposition, you couldn’t help but like. Good footballer, totally committed and dedicated to his club. A sad loss at such a relatively young age. RIP.
