Made me smile when the BBC got wind of his recreational habits – one year he was taking a leisurely tour around the Dordogne with Nesta for six weeks on the Holiday Show, the next year he was stuck on a non-stop coach trip to Benidorm

I can remember listening to John Peel after an England International and the visiting goalkeeper (I forget who) wore a shirt with big diamonds on the front and JP said "I thought the ????? goalkeeper's jersey was a bit Frank Bough"
