Date when he goes, I had thought the end of March but I now think end of Jan after a points deduction and no new signings
 
Given our circumstances I always found it a bizarre appointment in the first place.
Would have been more understandable if we were comfortably in mid table with no real danger of relegation.
Looks a short term relationship to me.
 
It'll be down to the players.
Despite most of them being overpaid, on long contracts (so no one else would ever buy them) and useless they go and moan to Top.

Hasn’t looked bothered after any of the many defeats he’s been in charge of.
Everything about the wolves defeat especially was completely unacceptable & he didn’t use anything like those kind of words in his post match.
His first press conference should have worried the people who for some mad reason thought his appointment was even remotely positive when he’s saying how shocked he was about the amount of interest he’d had just because he’d come through 4 games unbeaten for Man Utd, 3 games of which were against shockingly managed teams.

I'd sack him now.
Very dissapointed with him getting the gig.
Showed nothing since.
Played Wolves, Man City & Villa at good times to play them for different reasons and got zilch.
We should've gone for the chap at Bournemouth or Silva at Everton and gave em a 5 year project to keep us up and then aim high.
Any manager worth his salt would crawl to Leicester from either of those.
 
I said at the start he won't be here long.
Doesn't even has initials on any of his training kit.
Quick wash and hand it to the next mug (Dyche in Feb) after he walks.
 
RVN appears to have lost any interest he may have initially had, I think he knows with a crap squad and the Sword of Damacles (PSR) hanging over the club, he knows that we are well and truly f*cked. Is Top brave enough to sack him today and get Dyche in next week?
 
If we get a pts deduction and we're nailed on to go down I doubt he'll be fired. Why pay compo and have the hassle of hiring another manager on another contract for no reason?

Why would you get Russell Martin after his awful PL start with Southampton?

Just hearing that he's considering things having been told of his limitations concerning signings.
Could be just social media talk but who knows.
