So, who blinked first?

From what I have read of the deal, noone is going to be happy.

We need to see the 'small print'. Given that we are being given no time to analyse, it will be bad.

How much are we paying to leave, £39Billion? Banking liabilities £25Billion?, what else and for how long?

Who controls our non eu trade policy, us or the eu? Who sets the rules, ECJ by another name?

Will sections of our military remain under the control of the 'eu army'?

Will the ECHR continue to have undue influence on our immigration policy?

Who controls our fishing waters?

Just a few thoughts of the top of my slightly hungover head this morning. Plenty of other issues I'm sure, be interesting to see what we are told and when.

From what I have read of the deal, noone is going to be happy.
Sardine. Try getting to know yourself.
Nothing is going to make you happy unless the UK falls over that cliff edge of yours, or the UK goes back into the EU.
That's it. Even then, I guess you'll be griping like a sourpuss before, during and after.

Really?

Try reading the deal and tell me your happy.

Gripe, gripe, gripe.
So much for the sunny, sweet life in Sardinia.
Your neighbors must think you're a riot.
Who said I was griping.

What I said is noone will be happy.

But twist it as much as you can.

Hey, come here Sardine and let me know.
I might've missed it.
But have you ever posted a message on here that wasn't doom, gloom, the end of the fucking world?

The issue will not be the deal per se, the issue will be who enforces the rules.

The problem is that the eu is a huge comfort blanket for some, they will do practically anything to keep hold of it.

The comfort blanket went eleven months ago.

As I said above, noone is happy on either side will be happy with the fudge.

You keep saying “Noone” is happy. Who defhuck is “Noone”?
AFCD represents those who won't be happy unless the UK leaves every last EU body, and is clealy unhappy.

I am a remainer who is resigned to the fact we left and wanted a good deal.

Tell me, do you think it is a good deal?

Do not presume to tell me how I feel, thank you.

Like everyone else, I have no real idea of the details of the deal, so have no idea if it is good or bad.

My view is simple.

Are we still paying into the EU?
Do we have control of all our own affairs?

The answer to those simple questions will determine whether we have really exited the eu or not. The details trickling out this morning suggest that we have not left at all, in fact we are ceeding even more control to Brussels.

Dunno yet, I havent looked too deeply. If you arent happy, does that mean that they blinked first?

Sardine pre-catastrophe checklist.
Peter Noone not happy. Check.
No side will be happy. Check
No body will like fudge. Check.
Can't you see this is a cliff edge!?? Check.
Doom, pessimism, gripe. Check.
Relentlessly miserable. Check.

Okay guys, guess we're ready to roll.

Well, it would be a point of discussion, would it not? So, bad deal or good deal, Dickie?
No idea, it's done. I'm sure the Brexiteers will be shouting from the roof tops how wonderful it is and how they would like to queue for hours to suck Boris off. I'm also sure that the remainers will be saying it's the worse deal since Chamberlains "peace" of paper.

No. Just the opposite in fact.

Any brexiteer who has been paying attention can see that this is a sell out leaving us even more fucked than before, if you understood the Brexit mentality you would know that.

Getting out of the eu such that they have absolutely no ability to mess with our affairs is what Brexit is really all about, all other factors are secondary to this. That is the important bit, remainers, in general, simply don't get that.

Makes me laugh that they are running ads telling people to prepare and be ready for changes on Jan 1st yet no one has seen the document, which will only be approved by UK parliament on Dec 30th!

So you've seen the deal?

So you've seen the deal?
Only the bits that are being 'leaked'.

The 'level playing field' will require us to follow eu trade rules, even with non eu countries, the eu can continue taking most of our fish for at least 5 years and we continue to pay huge sums of money for the privilege.

City types are troubled too, no automatic access to eu financial markets might be an issue if true.

It’s just a start . Years of negotiations ahead and we will inevitably rejoin anyway
