Have broken my usual rules and watched their highlights.
Obvs a point is a great shame, but it'll hopefully be outweighed by the loss of the other two that most of the fuckers thought were theirs.
The hardly-likeable second scorer also provides some hope for us, with his 'me me me' celebrations suggesting that he, for one, is struggling with the whole team thing.
So I'd say the dream is still alive...
 
Losing two points in the 95th minute is quite a dampener.

I hope West Ham get something at Palace on Monday, preferrably a win. It would put both Forest and Spuds under considerable pressure.

Spuds or Florist getting relegated would indeed be the only possible consolation in an utterly catastrophic season from start to end, and it might not even stop there!
 
Yep, I'm an Hammers fan for the rest of the season. Sad that it's the only thing that I could take any satisfaction from.

On the City front, and now that any misguided hope as completely gone, I'm actually looking forward to the Hull game.
Not for the football but for the reception they get and hopefully a 90 minute ear bashing from those that can be arsed to turn up.
It would be rather satisfying to me if the fans actually vented their feelings towards the club if only to show how much they've let us all down.
Yesterday was the first time I've seen some real venom from the supporters particularly when the players sheepishly edged slowly up to the penalty area.
I know the club still has it's BAM'S but it seems to me that the patience of the average supporter as finally snapped.
When they come out to the sound of the post horn gallop I hope it's accompanied by a chorus of boos and FFS Melton don't faacking tell us we should be getting behind them. They owe the fans it's not the other way around.

Yes. Heard yesterday that he was back as a sub. and thought "Just the man for a relegation scrap". He's probably been busy tweeting that they'll be fine if they play like yesterday...

Did you notice towards the end of the game when he thought he might be going on as a sub, only to realise that they had already used all of their substitutes ?
I’m pretty sure he had a bit of a hissy fit, and went down the tunnel.
But never mind, at the end of the game, he went on the pitch and wandered around looking disconsolate like the rest of them 😂
 
They only just beat the team bottom of the league. It’s hardly an endorsement.

I think they picked up a couple more injuries too.
 
I'd be shocked if West Ham didn't go down irrespective of tonight (and Villa will no doubt not only f**k up tonight but on Thursday too). They have looked least likely for a while when I have seen them. Still, we can live in hope.
