that first half

Was the worst half of football i've ever seen from a Leicester side in 55 years of supporting.
Not sure the second makes up for it.
I could not believe what i was seeing.

I know I'm not alone on here in thinking that most people on here are criminally underestimating the extraordinary team work, dedication and unique skill levels that were displayed throughout the remarkable first goal yesterday.

For clarity, I should add that I mean the first Sheff Utd goal. Never have I seen such togetherness from a City team in the way they facilitated such a goal!

Take another look at it, and try and imagine any other team replicating such a truly special team effort...

I was at Southampton on Tuesday and it wasn’t exactly pretty. It really was excruciatingly bad

I have only watched the highlights on Youtube and for most of "build-up" to that goal I thought we were attacking

BBC needs new comedy scriptwriters

Culminating in Winks completely missing the ball.
Tbf if the ref had given the free kick for mavadidi wiping out their player early on in the build up we'd have never been able to witness it.
They'd have probably scored with a header from the free kick!

From the kick off at Southampton - direct back to the keeper then a long hoof out of play for a Saints throw in - we're fkn dire

They all must be late developers and missed out on playing for the junior school football teams.
Our old teacher who took us for Saturday morning matches would have been pulling her hair out at that defending, and you wouldn't have won't to get on the wrong side of her.

Saturday was an improvement. We employed the same 'tactic' for the kick-off and each of the restarts. Begović managed to keep the ball in play on all four occasions: all of which came to nowt naturally.

Winks was merely the glory boy.
He shouldn't overshadow the invaluable contributions kndly donated by 4 or 5 others.
Including Faes, who – as usual – made a strong yet effortless bid to retain his "Bystander of the Year" title...
To think I used to stand on the Kop and marvel at the silky skills of Davie Gibson.
Then that slaloming run by Waller at Kenilworth Road, on a day it really was like watching Brazil.
Then Marti Sennett came along, and the villainous Ben Turpkin too, and suddenly madcap mayhem of a kind even the Keystone Kops couldn’t have choreographed was finally brought to the Silver (Arcade) Screen.

The first half hour of each days training and the last half hour before kickoff should be the whole squad watching that first 5 minutes over and over again. If Marti hasnt played it to them 50 times already then he is part of the problem. Under 9s would be dropped for that defending.

Even the Keystone Cops would have cleared that ball.
