There was an issue, thats why him and 2 others were moved on, allegedly drugs and telling the press inside stuff. He was lined up as their next No. 1 before this and they then got Alison in. Don't know if he was there with Rodgers, which actually the question !
 
The fact we bought and kept him suggests that he is a safe pair of hands and has been forgiven for previous "misdemeanors".
 
just looking at those dates, you've got to wonder.

next month will be a decade since he joined liverpool. he is Wales number one, so clearly has some ability, yet has been happy to spend his entire career warming the bench. i guess its a financial decision, and i realise its harder for GKs as there is only one spot available...but surely as a kid you dream of playing football, yet when he's an old man and his grandkids ask him about his career, he'll have next to nothing to tell them.

it as to be money, but l guess he saw the opportunity in the the near future from when he signed to take over from Kasper. That seems to have taken longer than he initially expected l guess. The right time is now, I've watched him for Wales (being part Taffistani) and hes been shit hot in some games.
