What are you listening to?

Not just listening, but love some of the AI then-and-now vids, I'm sure some of the puritans (old fuckers stuck in their ways) will hate it, but I think it's great, The AI dance tracks are really good... It's the future, my friends, whether you like it or not.

The Camden Palace in the late 80s and early 90s turned into a rave club, and I was only young and full of life!... It would finish about 2 am but your £10 ticket would get you free bus and entry into the Astoria, then about 7am free entry to the breakfast club, which went on until noon. I never made it that far, bit of a lightweight!
 
Mostly the Dan again last week - mainly their debut which was the last one i bought, about 5 years ago, to complete the set.

I recently picked up the “His Majesty’s Pop Life” RSD comp on vinyl for a crazily low price & rinsed that along with other Prince 12s - surprised how good the ‘Batmix’ of “Batdance” still sounds.

Also watched this - while he was always dynamite live, for me in terms of energy & performance, it takes some beating.

Jesse Hector of the Hammersmith Gorillas and great sideburns fame sadly passed away yesterday. I've just listened to a Gorillas album and now playing a Cherry Red Pub Rock compilation.
 
@Filbo65 and I saw The Lottery Winners at Kentish Town last night, they are excellent and having some real success after years of being a small band.

They were supported by Tom A Smith who I’ve now seen twice. He and his band have a great career ahead of them. They are also excellent.
