Absolute garbage.
The ball was where Perez put his foot a split second before & he was off balance because of said push.
Add to that Perez has never made a tackle in his life.
 
Never mind the red card, why are we so inept looking?
Outplayed by Wolves for large parts, and nothing being created in this one either.
They have lost this, and more concerningly they seem to have lost their way in general.
The team is lacking something.
 
He was trying to get his foot across the West Ham player, to take a foul himself.
but typical Perez fashion he was too slow. IMO it wasn’t deliberate, just slow and reckless.

if he’d been better with his first touch then it would all be irrelevant.

We have (had) Perez who's not up to it.
Maddison who's not interested /sulking or whatever.
Amarty who's terrified.
 
Why risk it, we have a couple of nippy players up front, belt it long occasionally so they don’t know what to expect . And he was pushed and pulled it was a foul
 
For god's sake people it wasn't a tackle... .. he was trying to balance himself after s tackle from behind that would have resulted last year with a free kick for us but now the refs have been told to be more lenient in the letter of the law it was never a tackle Christ I maybe bloody old but I ain't senile he was trying to regain his feet unfortunately in seconds another leg was already planted in a tackle onhim
 
50/50 only perez knows the truth, at least he cant play for 3 matches now!, was really excited when we signed him but what a let down he as been!
Time for an upgrade if we have any serious ambitions, poor old thomas, looked lost and knackered, was totally outplayed, he learnt a lot though so should help his development, i thought castange should have replaced him at 2-1
 
Like the commentators on TV, I saw nothing wrong in real time but the playback showed it tp be awful. With the best will in the world you can just about make the case that Perez was off balance and it was a bit of a lunge, yellow card in that case.

If there was any suspicion of intent, arguable I would say, then it had to be red. Overall, no real complaints, if it were against us, we would all be screaming for red.
