There seems to me to a lack of spirit, determination and togetherness gone is the rapid movement, replaced by a ponderous backline and a virtually static
midfield, no wonder Vardy looks isolated,
It's snails pace at the back and whilst we are on the defence Kasper's kicking is getting worse not better, midfield creativity is just a memory, something's amiss down there, love to know what's gone wrong
 
Three of the first choice back 4 missing
Lookman and Soumare finding their feet, Vestergard and Bertand not what we’d hoped for.
Looked a lot more positive when going forward today, plenty of chances created.
Hopefully fix the defence and it’ll all improve.
Schmeichel, I hadn’t thought his distribution could get any worse. I was badly wrong.

But our defence should be used to each other by now, we cannot keep making the same excuses we knew these players we miss would be out for along while so it does not excuse that and previous displays.

For a while Youri seems as though his contract is laying on his mind Vardy is doing well the only bonus is the form of Lookman M O.M yesterday until that ridiculous substitution
 
Well he certainly caught a cold yesterday with the Lookman subbing .....roundly booed his explanation does not sit well the lad was still moving freely far better than some on the pitch
 
Subbing Riccy was good and worked straightaway, Castagne started to create opportunities. It must be the injury, Riccy was our best player for a long time. Bringing Nacho on also worked, though I thought Soumare played OK.

Subbing Lookman was ridiculous, made worse by subbing him for Maddison. If he was going to swop a forward Barnes should have come off and Daka put on.

I remain optimistic but we need to start beating the teams we should be beating, like Burnley yesterday and Palace next week.
 
I thought we were ok for much of yesterdays game, the disaster that is our central defence apart.

Not too much tippy tappy and a bit of pace about some of our attacks, no coincidence that we created some chances for Vardy against a packed Burnley defence. How we managed to contrive to be 2-1 down was pretty astonishing.

Either side of half time we battered Burnley but they were committed and resolute in a way that we have not been for some time. The late substitutions were hit and miss, Iheanacho positive, Maddison not. Vardy late goal was not really deserved though well enough taken, we were falling apart, the lack of confidence at the back infecting the whole side by then, VAR saved us.

Some genuine positives I thought, but overall disappointing, central defence, including Schmeicel needs a kick up the arse.
 
VAR has been a mixed blessing for us. We got lucky v Norwich and yesterday, but it cost us three points v Brighton.

Agreed. That was clear cut.

But it is worth saying out that the match was pretty even towards the end and that on the balance of play we were lucky to save a point. We did have some good spells but we were falling apart in the last quarter.
