I reckon today Susan Whealan

Will be leading from the front as the 14 others meet to discuss what to do about about ‘the 6’.
She’ll do it with class too. She may want to get them all kicked out of the Premier League right away to give us a chance to win the league this season, but she won’t come out and say that in so many words.

A question...if chelsea where kicked out the fa cup final would you rather we played southampton again on 15th may as the only other non big six semi finalist or would you be happy to have cup handed to us by default?

I’ll be happy to play the game again. Both teams would approach it differently a second time around.

we could be on the verge of the double
I think @TartanFox has worked out we’d be in second behind West Ham if they were kicked out and the results gained against those teams were wiped off. With us still having to play Chelsea, Man U and Tottenham we’ll have little chance to make up the gap.

If this big 6 expulsion goes ahead, what about the likes of Celtic and Rangers being invited to the Premier League? I am sure the TV companies would love it and they would still get their 2 Old Firm games in (as long as neither get relegated).

That idea can get in the sea for a start off. Why would the EPL want to bring in all that sectarian and racist bagage, one club is so dysfunctional that it's allowed a 9 year old zombie loss making outfit win the league.

The only two I can see opposing her are the two prostitutes of the PL. Fat boy Ashley and the East end dildo brothers.

Newcastle and West Ham have publicly denounced the plans.

Only takes 14 votes to take sanctions against another club.

An interesting day ahead.

Back to the OP...I was rather hoping we would have been one of the first clubs to put out a statement. Our stand on PPV was widely applauded...hoped we would make a similarly open stand on this one.

(although it is probably because they were waiting until after the meeting)

Perhaps we are waiting to announce the formation of a new Premier League. One which we can't be relegated from. The BCC start again from League Two.

Perhaps a Midland League Breakaway where we could all play for the Brian Clough Trophy!!

Oh man - I have stars in my eyes.....or are they tears.....

ashley must be fuming. surely this ESL nonsense has stalled (killed) his lingering hopes of the takeover of newcastle.
