We must be in heaven man
Passed away aged 74, I loved his time with us RIP
My favorite ever Leicester game i attended.
Leicester v Wolves 1975. Won 3-2 with a Garland hat trick. Game swung back and forth, i think we went 1-0 up, then 2-1 down and back to win 3-2. Standing in the little area near the corner flag with the St johns ambulance folk, i had a perfect view of a Sammels inswinging corner headed in by Garland.
Fantastic player.
I thought we were 2-0 down, Willie Carr and John RichardsMy favorite ever Leicester game i attended.

My dad died of Parkinsons and he never headed a ball in his lifeWell the Parkinsons is down to the brain injuries from excessive heading the ball.
I loved him being at LCFC.
Who knows, it was just guesswork. I'm sure t'internet has the details.I thought we were 2-0 down, Willie Carr and John Richards
Yes he was, one late Saturday night back in the day met him coming out of that chip shop bottom of Belgrave Gate ..City fish fryers I think, he took the time to have a quick word with me and my star struck mates. RIP.He was the most approachable out of all the players for autographs really friendly and always signed Best Wishes RIP
TBF the person responsible for writing pieces of this nature, ie the club historian, maybe on holiday. JH never usually misses the passing of any ex City playerSame age as me. A great player for us, not just skilful but also wholehearted and good with the fans. How many of the current bunch fall into that category ?
If the club fail to recognise his contribution it would be a disgrace, but not a surprise given the current disconnect with its fans.
RIP Chris.
Reading the LCFC tribute it says latterly he had suffered from Dementia (as well as Parkinsons) and had been living in a care home.My dad died of Parkinsons and he never headed a ball in his life
