I don’t want him gone but if he goes we get someone else in and go again.
I'm on the fence (just) but I can see both sides...2 top 6 finishes fa cup final....but on the other hand the football is dire (literally no one can arguethat case)..the tactics wrong in most games and bizzare subs..plus the refusal to come out and say I got it wrong.Bullshit rag newspapers joining in as well, saying he jumped ship from Celtic so he has previous, I know a few on here want Rodgers gone (not me) but we have a fantastic squad & (imho) manager & staff so why feckin do some want him gone…
I couldnt agree more, Dags. I cant see it happening, but if manyoo lose a couple more, then moved in, it would be a blessing in disguise.I think he thinks he’s taken us as far as he can. He won the e holy grail with us. A Premier League win is well beyond us given the strength of Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City. The only way he could do better is to qualify in 4th place for the Champions League and we’ve been oh so close to that in the last two seasons.
The problem is, the owners’ track record at appointing managers is patchy. We’ve had some good ‘uns, but we’ve had our fair share of dross too. If Rodgers leaves mid-season, who could we realistically get?I don’t want him gone but if he goes we get someone else in and go again.
NopeIsn’t there a rule about Premiership clubs poaching each other’s managers mid season?
Perhaps we need to go back to Belvoir drive 2 days a week to wake em up?Seagrave training centre is a disaster.
Far too comfy.
He has enough money and invests in property, I think he wants to build something here, he distanced himself from geordie speculation.Yanked are desperate and will hike up his pay. And so what if he’s walking into a poisoned chalice they will pay him off if he fails. If he succeeds he’ll be a hero.
I do think the constant speculation about him is unsettling the whole set up.
Well most managers would distance themselves from a relegation battle at Newcastle. He has enough money and invests in property, I think he wants to build something here, he distanced himself from geordie speculation.
Weren't you getting all excited about him being odds-on for the Newcastle job a few weeks ago? Or was that Spurs? Or Barcelona? With Bet Victor.
The fear with Nuno is it seems he needs to be surrounded by fellow countrymenI don't want to see him go but if he does, I will say thanks for finally bringing that Cup home to Leicester... out of the current crop Nuno due to his record at Wolves. Of course whether he could create that winning formula here, and pretty quickly remains the question. The eventual outcome will probably differ from all our guesses and preferences, as is usually the way.
